3G technology
3G (UMTS/HSPA+) is the technology of the third generation, which enables data transfer rates up to 42 Mbit/s. The maximum download rate lies by 5.76 Mbit/s. The actual speed for up- and download is also dependent of the provider and his network expansion. If you have applications where it is important to keep up a stable connection, there is the possibility to use two SIM cards from different providers with the router. Thus there is even in worse covered areas a stable connection guaranteed. The speed fo the 3G router is sufficient in most cases. Also is one antenna in most cases, to keep the signal strength upright and transfer the most mobile data problem-free over the internet. If this shouldn’t be enaugh, we also have models with two antennas. Those are able to compensate the possible not optimal network expansion.

He is the cheapest model, which offers for most of our customers applications, because of his variety of interfaces, sufficient possibilities. If RS-232, mini USB, RS-485, ethernet or GPIO, the small router series offers all popular inputs and outputs to meet your requirements. Also a DIN rail clip can be attached and the signal lamps are mounted so that they are seen easy in a switch cabinet.

GWR-362
Our GWR-362 (3G UMTS/HSPA+) router makes perfect sense to be conneted to existing firm networks, because of his WAN and LAN interface. This series offers the unique advantage to read out informations off from his integrated LCD display like: currently used SIM card/existing SIM cards, GSM provider, SMS, roaming, signal strength/quaity, GSM technology, interfaces, uptime, IP adresses and firmware version. This series is ideal there, where high fail-safety and good signal quality is necessary. Those provides the router through his possibility to install three antennas, which strengthen a possibly weak signal and his two SIM card slots. Additionally this router is available with Wifi and doesn’t have to be cabled costly, which opens the door for mobile applications.
